Kalyanikutty is a strong character in Padmarajan novel
Nakshathrangale Kaval
but you cant fix a name your own
your wife too have equal right

Caste system is quite natural, caste exists in all creations, for egs vazha thanne, ethan, poovan, njalippovan, kannan etc etc how many varieties

Each has its merits and demerits you cant change world, its cyclic, first it was ethiesm, now fanatic worshipism

Kalyanikuty is really a sweet name and besides, we can call her Kalyani at home :)

yeah, casteism is such a scourge and very difficult to rid the society of it. we can only wish it hadn't originated and then in desperation maybe, burn off 1 or 2 copies of Manusmriti...

Kalyani? Kallu for short? :) That's a sweet name.

Laavvved that comment on G.W.Bush... though I am "Republican". BTW, saw the sitcom based on the Bush family, "Thats my Bush!"?

Your first job...... I used to work as a Library Assistant-Coolie-Receptionist-Janitor in my grad school days. But I never kept that first salary of 300 something doallrs as a memento. I dashed to the nearest Chinese restaurant and indulged in a culinary orgy..... but I still keep a one dollar note as a remainder of those halycon days.

Peace.
Condi/Arnie for 2008. :P

thnx u! in a world where names of kings are given to dogs, a normal human's name to a cow is exemptable :-)

> ann
hmm.. :-) i really mean that u know.

> jiby
ente valathu bhaagam ninakkullathaakunnu kunjaadey.. aakayaal nee santhoshathode iruppan yahovayude naamathil naam aruli cheyyunnu.. :p

> anon
hmm.. hvnt read that novel. lemme see whether i can get a copy of that. btw i dont believe in splitting rights and equating it to find the difference when it comes to married life. coz there are no two halves..

i wud like to differ on ur view point on caste system. diff. species of a genre is something which is natural. caste is something which is not natural but assigned by some jerk(s) to pronounce his/their dominance, imho. while the fact remains that i cant change it, it doesnt mean that i shudnt try for a change.

> arjun
we?? hmm.. :-)) hmm.. casteism, the ground reality is like u said, we cant do anything abt that. bt still..

> venus
merci, mademoiselle! mckinsey, though they come up with slighta ornate, global stuff, thats what which sustains our life mam, so.. :-) btw i knew someone wud point out the Jim Carrey flick..

PS: i tell u that u r nice whenever u tag me? in ur dreams dear! :p

> moc
